A case of theft has been reported from the house of BJP leader and Jharusuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy in Rourkela, raising concerns over security at high-profile residences.
The incident took place on July 29 at Flat No. 205 of Shanti Apartment, during the legislator's absence.
According to sources, some unidentified miscreants broke open the main door of the flat and decamped with valuables.
Significantly, the CCTV DVR system was also stolen, indicating a possible attempt to erase surveillance footage and hinder investigation efforts.
