What should have been a simple lunch order turned into a frightening ordeal, raising serious concerns about hygiene standards at popular eateries and the oversight of food delivery platforms.

Vijay, a resident of Meerut, had ordered chicken curry from the well-known local eatery Kake Da Hotel through Zomato. Halfway through his meal, he reportedly spotted a dead lizard in the gravy. The repulsive discovery immediately made him vomit, after which he was rushed to hospital.
