Bhubaneswar, Jan. 26 -- A couple from Meerut went viral after tying the knot amid heavy snowfall in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district, coinciding with the festival of Basant Panchami and the region's first major snowfall of the season. The wedding took place at the Triyuginarayan Temple, believed to be the sacred site where Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati were married.
A video shared on Instagram by Mahendra Semwal captured the bride in a bright red lehenga and the groom in a sherwani, walking through thick snow after their ceremony. The bride's lehenga was carefully lifted by a companion while the groom, bundled in jackets, accompanied her.
