The recent news of the early onset of the southwest monsoon in some parts of Odisha had elicited a positive response as several pockets received early rainfall triggered by a low-pressure system.This had brought down the maximum temperature in several parts of Odisha to some extent, providing relief from scorching hot and humid conditions.
