Several parts of Odisha are currently experiencing intense hot and humid conditions. As per official sources, Hirakud recorded maximum temperature of 39.8 degree C by 2.30 pm on Saturday, followed by 39.6 in Sambalpur, Jharsuguda 39.4 and Bhubaneswar recorded 37 degrees C.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted that the maximum temperature likely to rise by 2 -to 3degC during next 3 days and no large change thereafter in subsequent 4days over the districts of Odisha.
