India, April 12 -- In a significant crackdown on illegal liquor manufacturing, a joint team comprising the Odisha Police and the Excise Department has dismantled a large-scale illicit country liquor operation in the Jarada police jurisdiction of the Ganjam district.

The coordinated raid led to the seizure of approximately 30,500 liters of fermented wash and 2,200 liters of adulterated country-made liquor, with the total estimated value exceeding Rs 20 lakh.
