In a tragic turn of events, an Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) worker on Thursday was hacked to death by her brother-in-law over a land dispute in the village of Chadiapalli, located in Jagannathprasad, Ganjam district.
The deceased has been identified as Tuni Tripathi, an ASHA worker.
According to sources, a land dispute prevailed between Tuni and her brother-in-law's family. The two families were at loggerheads for the last couple of years.
