Bhubaneswar, Nov. 2 -- Upping the ante against Odisha's Minister of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged involvement in the lady teacher Mamita Meher murder case in Kalahandi, Opposition parties in the State on Tuesday pushed for their demands for his resignation and a CBI inquiry into the case.

The Congress party announced to call Odisha Bandh if the Minister didn't tender his resignation in the next 10 days.

"The Minister can't escape by giving frivolous statements in the media. He should confess candidly about his involvement with the main accused in the murder case.
