Bhubaneswar, Nov. 2 -- Amid the ongoing protests across Odisha and demand for the ouster of Minister of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged involvement in the lady teacher Mamita Meher murder case in Kalahandi, the minister on Monday reiterated his innocence.

While taking part in a programme- 'Mo Paribara, Odisha Paribara' at Karanjakote under Golamunda block in the district, Mishra claimed that he has nothing to do with the heinous crime and he has never been to the Sunshine School.

"It is a private school and students up to class eight are admitted in the institution. I have never been to the school where Mamita was a teacher. It's unfortunate that people, who have never seen Mahaling, are even pointing fingers," said ...
