Mamita Meher Murder: BJP Women Wing Mocks At 'Dead' Law And Order In Odisha, Clashes With Police During Protest March
Bhubaneswar, Oct. 23 -- The women wing of State BJP on Saturday scuffled with the Police during their hearse parade to Naveen Niwas from Ram Mandir square, the official residence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, demanding ouster of MoS (Home), Dibya Shankar Mishra whose name has come up in the sensational Mamita Meher Murder case.
The women activists carried out a hearse symbolic of the alleged dead law and order situation in Odisha. The activists carried placards and resorted to sloganeering during the march.
The scuffle occurred when police put barricades at the Sishu Bhawan square in Bhubaneswar to stop their march towards the CM's residence.
