In a bid to find a solution to the Mahanadi water dispute, representatives of both the Odisha and Chhattisgarh governments were present at the hearing of the Tribunal on Saturday.
Advocate General Pitambar Acharya reportedly represented the Odisha government in the case. The state government has informed the Tribunal about ongoing negotiations between Odisha and Chhattisgarh to reach a mutual understanding.
