Bhubaneswar, Dec. 3 -- The recently published preliminary examination results for the Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Hindi Teacher recruitment have triggered widespread debate, particularly due to the shockingly low cut-off marks declared for certain categories.
The preliminary test, conducted on the 16th of this month, saw its results released on Monday. What has surprised many is that the Scheduled Caste (SC) category cut-off has been fixed at just 1 mark out of 100, meaning even candidates scoring the bare minimum have qualified for the main examination.
Additionally, the cut-off for SC women candidates has been set marginally higher at 2.5 marks, prompting questions over the rationale behind such low thresholds.
