Bhubaneswar, July 28 -- A low pressure formed over south Bangladesh and adjoining north Bay of Bengal and West Bengal has turned into a 'well-marked low-pressure system' on Wednesday morning, informed Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar.

The well-marked low pressure is likely to move westwards across West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar during the subsequent 48 hours, said the Met department.

"Yesterday's Low Pressure over North Bay of Bengal now lies as a well-marked Low Pressure Area over south Bangladesh and adjoining North Bay of Bengal and West Bengal. It is likely to move westwards across West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar during next 48 hours," the Met Centre informed through a tweet.
