Bhubaneswar, Sept. 7 -- The Low Pressure area formed over west-central Bay of Bengal intensified into a well-marked system over west-central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal and north Andhra Pradesh­ south Odisha coasts on Tuesday.

The system, developed under the influence of a cyclonic circulation, is likely to move west­north-westwards during next 2-3 days. Under its effect, various parts of Odisha have been witnessing moderate to heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours

As per a bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar on Monday, the system will likely continue to trigger light to moderate rainfall across the State.
