Bhubaneswar, Sept. 21 -- Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal and neighbourhood, a Low Pressure area has formed over southern parts of Gangetic West Bengal and neighbourhood, said India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar several parts of Odisha are experiencing light to moderate rainfall for the past couple of days. Several parts of the State also received heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours.

Around six stations received heavy downpour in the past 24 hours. Hirakud (Sambalpur) received maximum rainfall of 105.5 mm, followed by 82.4 mm at Altuma (Dhenkanal) , Kamakhyanagar (Dhenkanal) 76.1 mm, Talcher (Angul) 75.0 mm, Harichandanpur...
