A fresh low-pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal, near the north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coasts, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday.

According to the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre's weekly outlook suggests that another weather system may form over the Bay of Bengal around September 20. This could develop into either another low-pressure area or a cyclonic circulation.

According to the forecast, the low-pressure system is expected to intensify further and move in a west-northwest direction. Over the next 48 hours, it is likely to shift towards adjoining north Andhra Pradesh and so...
