The Low Pressure Area over the north Bay of Bengal is likely to move west-northwestwards and become 'well marked' during the next 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar predicted on Thursday.

The IMD has issued a Red Warning for some districts of the State till July 26.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD regional centre stated, "The Low Pressure area over the north Bay of Bengal persisted over the same region at 0830 hrs IST of today, the 24th July 2025.
