Bhubaneswar, Feb. 12 -- After ten years of standing by each other through differences and resistance, Farheen Bano and Badrinarayan Das finally solemnised their marriage in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, a union that reflects their belief that love rises above barriers of religion and community.

Farheen, who embraced Hinduism ahead of the ceremony and now goes by the name Priyanshi, married Badrinarayan at the Bhimeswar Mangala Temple in the presence of close friends.

The couple, who had been in a relationship for the past ten years, belonged to different religious communities. While they remained committed to one another, the path to marriage was not without challenges.
