Lightning Claims 6 Lives In Odisha, Over 3200 People Killed During 9 Years
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 1 -- Bhubaneswar: As many as six people were killed after being reportedly struck by lightning at several places in the State today.
According to sources, a total of 4 people were killed in lightning strikes in separate incidents in Keonjhar. One person each was killed in Rampas village under Nandipada police limits, Inchal & Sapua sahi in Ramchandrapur area. Similarly, the fourth one, stated to be a minor girl was killed in Pandua area.
One person was killed due to lightning while working on his field in Jaleswar Laxmananath area while a woman lost her life after being struck by a lightning while working in her house in Bhogarai area of Balasore.
