Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday announced that land acquisition for proposed mega steel plant in Keonjhar to begin soon.
During his two-day visit to the district, he reviewed several development projects. The project construction work will begin shortly after key steps are completed, the CM confirmed.
According to official sources, the Chief Minister asserted that Keonjhar will soon be home to a mega steel plant, with preparations already in advanced stages.
"The process has moved two steps forward, and the company concerned has deposited necessary funds," said the CM while reviewing development projects.
