JAJPUR, Oct. 26 -- Demanding CBI investigation into the death of lady Panchayat Extension Officer (PEO) Smitarani Biswal and registration of criminal cases against Superintendent of Police Charan Singh Meena, BJP workers today gheraoed different police stations of the district.
The protesting BJP workers lodged complaints against the Jajpur SP in different police stations alleging that the SP deliberately maligned the character of the deceased in a press conference.
"After the PEO's death, the Jajpur Superintendent of Police levelled malicious allegations against her which has affected her family members. It is extremely shameful and action should be taken against him. BJP will continue its protest till he is not punished," said Biswajit ...
