In a fresh twist to the murder case of Lady Constable Shubhamitra Sahu, the crime history of the accused Deepak has come under the scanner. Police have reopened the case file relating to the mysterious death of his first wife, Aparna.
A murder case has now been registered at Khuntuni police station following a complaint lodged by Aparna's sister, Rojalin Raut. Acting on the complaint, police have added murder charges against Deepak and launched a fresh investigation.
