Bhubaneswar, Feb. 17 -- Following public backlash and outrage over allegedly inhuman way of handling the unrest triggered by the suspicious death of a Nepali student in KIIT University hostel, the varsity authorities took an 'U-turn' and appealed the students to come back, on Monday.

The Nepali students were urged to return to the campus after leaving due to disturbances caused by the death of a fellow student earlier in the day. The university authorities are appealing for those who have left or plan to leave to reconsider their departure.
