Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19 -- The body of Prakriti Lamsal, a third-year B Tech student at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), who allegedly died by suicide at her hostel room on Sunday afternoon, was handed over to her family members late on Tuesday night.

According to sources, the body of Prakriti was handed over to her family after a post-mortem at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar.

The grieving family then took her remains to Nepal for the final rites, sources informed.

Notably, Prakriti, died allegedly by suicide, after being harassed by a third-year Mechanical engineering student of the same university. The accused, Advik Srivastava, was arrested by the Commissionerate Police from Bhubanesw...
