Bhubaneswar, May 18 -- Berhampur: The fate of the Khallikote Cluster University has been sealed after the Odisha Government began process for amalgamating it with the Berhampur University on Tuesday.

The Odisha Higher Education department shot a letter to the Finance department informing the same and urged for continuation of the former Comptroller of Finance of the University till September 30, 2021.

As per the letter, the Khallikote Cluster University that was accredited with University status by the Odisha government in 2015, will once again be stripped of the badge and will be amalgamated with the Berhampur University with effect from October 1, 2021.
