Incessant rainfall has triggered a sharp rise in the water level of the Brahmani River, submerging the Pattamundai-Rajnagar main road in Odisha's Kendrapara district and disrupting daily life.
Water, measuring around two to three feet deep, is currently flowing over the road, bringing vehicular movement to a standstill. As a result, communication between several panchayats of Pattamundai block and the outside world has been completely cut off.
