In 2022, Kartik Aaryan shared a motion poster of Aashiqui 3 and expressed his excitement over working for the first time with Anurag Basu. The motion poster also had singer Arijit Singh's voice singing 'Ab tere bin jee lenge hum,' leaving fans thrilled. However, it seems the makers have shelved Aashiqui 3.

As per the latest reports, the makers have put all rumours to rest surrounding Aashiqui 3. T-Series issued a statement and clarified that it is not involved in the production of Kartik Aaryan's Aashiqui 3.
