In a shocking case of mob justice, a woman and two men were allegedly assaulted after being tied to an electric pole on suspicion of having an illicit relationship. The incident took place in Begunia village under Jashipur police limits of Mayurbhanj district.
According to reports, the woman had called two relatives from Kashipal village to Jashipur on Friday to help her with market shopping. Around 4 pm, while returning to her village on a motorcycle with the two men, locals, along with members of the woman's family, intercepted them at the village square.
