On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, conjoined twin survivor Jaga had a rakhi tied on his wrist by his younger sister Subhadra. The emotional moment took place at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Phulbani, where Jaga is currently undergoing treatment.
Present at the hospital were Jaga's father Bhuyan Kanhar, mother Pushpanjali Kanhar, and sister Subhadra. Jaga is reported to be in good health, eating, playing, and moving about normally, but is still unable to attend school.
He continues to wear a protective helmet on his head, and the family is awaiting another surgery to have it removed.
