In a significant step toward strengthening Odisha's maritime infrastructure and promoting industrial logistics, the state government on Thursday signed a Concession Agreement with JSW Utkal Steel Limited for the development of a captive jetty at Jatadhari. The Rs 2,100 crore investment marks another milestone in Odisha's port-led growth strategy.
The agreement was signed at Lok Seva Bhawan in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who underlined the transformative impact of such infrastructure projects on the coastal economy and regional employment.
