Unidentified miscreants allegedly carried out a late-night robbery at a jewellery shop in Hatpada market under Kamarda police limits of Odisha's Balasore district late last night.
According to reports, the incident occurred late in the night, when the entire market area was deserted. The robbers broke open the shutter of the jewellery store and looted gold and other ornaments under the cover of darkness.
The shop, located in the busy Hatpada area of Beldha, is believed to have been specifically targeted by the miscreants who may have planned the act in advance.
