The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has accelerated its efforts to restart the suspended Indian Premier League (IPL) after India and Pakistan announced a ceasefire on Saturday. With 12 league matches and four playoff games pending, the league could resume as early as May 15, aiming to conclude by its original deadline of May 25.
According to reports by The New Indian Express, the BCCI has directed all franchises, except Punjab Kings, to regroup at their designated venues by Tuesday.
