Bhubaneswar, Dec. 16 -- Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) delivered one of the biggest shocks by splurging Rs 5.2 crore on uncapped all-rounder Mangesh Yadav. Entering the accelerated round with a modest base price of Rs 30 lakh, the Madhya Pradesh cricketer suddenly found himself at the centre of a fierce bidding war between RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad, one that Bengaluru eventually won.

Mangesh Yadav is a left-handed fast-bowling all-rounder from Madhya Pradesh and has previously shared the dressing room with RCB captain Rajat Patidar in domestic cricket.
