A sweltering heatwave has once again enveloped Odisha and will continue for the next few days, following a short-lived relief brought by the pre-monsoon showers. Day temperatures soared above 43 Degrees Celsius on Sunday, with Jharsuguda recording the highest at 43.5 Degrees Celsius.

Hot on its heels are Bolangir at 42.4, Titilagarh at 42.0, and Sambalpur at 41 Degrees Celsius. Overall, eleven cities in the State have temperatures above 40 Degrees Celsius.

Sonepur reached 41.3 Degrees Celsius, while Nuapada, Bhawanipatna, Sundargarh, Boudh, and Hirakud are experiencing temperatures of 41, 40.8, 41.8, 41.5, and 41.3 Degrees Celsiu...
