Inspired by development agenda of PM Modi, former NALCO CMD Tapan Chand joins BJP in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, March 6 -- Reinforcing the State unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), former Chief Managing Director (CMD) of NALCO, Tapan Chand joined BJP on Wednesday.
Chand joined at the party office in Bhubaneswar in the presence of BJP's Odisha chief Manmohan Samal and other senior leaders.
Chand has been involved in politics since his student days. He served as the students' union president of Utkal University (Vani Vihar) too. He later joined the corporate sector with Vizag Steel Plant and NALCO.
