Alia Bhatt is all set to debut at Cannes 2025 which kicked off on May 13. Earlier she was expected to grace the red carpet at the film festival on its opening day. However, citing the rising tensions between India and Pakistan due to Operation Sindoor, she postponed her debut at Cannes. According to India Today, "Alia took this decision considering the tension at the borders. The Raazi actor did not feel it was right to go to Cannes at such a crucial time... her team is closely following the situation... she might look at another date to attend."
