Bhubaneswar, Dec. 6 -- Airfares on multiple routes from Bhubaneswar have climbed steeply following the ongoing IndiGo operational crisis, with tickets that were priced between Rs 7,000 and Rs 15,000 a week earlier now being quoted at several times those levels.

The surge in pricing has forced passengers to purchase high-priced seats as cancellations and rescheduling continue nationwide, reported sources.

According to the latest available ticket rates checked on Saturday, the rise is visible across major destinations.
