A tragic incident unfolded in Rajasthan's Churu district on Wednesday after a Jaguar Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jet crashed shortly after its takeoff, defence sources confirmed. The mishap has left the nation in shock, as the pilot was found dead in the wreckage, as per initial reports. According to Republic TV, two deaths have been reported from the crash site.

According to officials, the ill-fated aircraft had taken off from the IAF's Suratgarh airbase before losing contact and crashing in the Churu region. The cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained.
