Bhubaneswar, Feb. 1 -- Despite losing the opening Test by 28 runs against England in Hyderabad, former India star and BCCI chief selector Chetan Sharma has backed the hosts to come back strongly against England.

As per the former selector, India will win the remaining games despite the fact that the likes of KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja are ruled out due to injuries.

Sharma further pointed out that India were in a similar scenario during England's last tour of India in 2020/21 when the visitors won the opening game in Chennai, but eventually sealed the series 3-1.
