Bhubaneswar, Jan. 10 -- Hosts India and Sri Lanka will lock horns in the first game of the three-match ODI series at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati on Tuesday.

Skipper Rohit Sharma has confirmed in the pre-match press conference that promising Shubman Gill would open the batting with him.

Rohit said that he was not going to take anything from Ishan Kishan. Kishan smashed his maiden ODI double hundred against Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram last month.

In Kishan's absence from the playing XI, KL Rahul will don the keeping gloves.
