Bhubaneswar, Dec. 2 -- Preparations are in full swing at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack ahead of the high-voltage T20 International match scheduled between India and South Africa for December 9. East zone Chief Curator Ashish Bhowmick carried out a detailed inspection of the pitch to assess match-readiness and playing conditions on Tuesday.

Bhowmick, accompanied by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) curator, ground staff, reviewed the surface condition, grass covering, hardness and moisture levels to ensure an ideal pitch for the upcoming India-South Africa clash.

According to sources, three pitches have been prepared for the match, allowing flexibility based on weather and playing strategy.
