Income Tax officials continued their raids for a second day on properties linked to former Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das, investigating alleged tax irregularities on Friday. The searches are underway at his residence and several business establishments.
The operation, which began early Thursday, covered multiple locations including Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bhubaneswar, and surrounding areas.
In Sambalpur alone, five locations were searched - Das' residence at Mudipada, Hotel Mandarin at VSS Marg, a hotel in Bhalupali, a shopping mall in Ainthapali, and the house of an associate in Sahajog Nagar, sources said.
