Heavy rains on Saturday washed away a key temporary road built over the Bansajuria stream in Keonjhar district's Telkoi block, severing the main connectivity between Jagamohanpur and Telkoi.
The incident has caused significant transportation disruptions, especially for larger vehicles, as the region reels under continued monsoon pressure, according to reports.
Sources also added that a new bridge is currently under construction over the Bansajuria stream. To maintain traffic during the construction period, a temporary bypass was created to facilitate daily movement.
