Bhubaneswar, Sept. 25 -- Choudwar in Cuttack is now under the surveillance of high-end closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras. This has been possible due to the help extended by the Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BPIF), the social development arm of Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA).

As many as 46 CCTV cameras have been installed at various markets and streets in Choudwar city in the initial phase. The cameras, which have been installed in collaboration with IMFA , are expected to play a crucial role in curbing crimes in specific areas.

The initiative was formally launched by Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra in presence of Senior Vice-President of IMFA Binay Agrawal and Choudwar Municipality Chairman Manasi Swarnaprava Samal. T...
