IMD warns of heat wave conditions across Odisha, issues Yellow Warning for hot and humid weather
Bhubaneswar, April 13 -- Several parts of Odisha are likely to witness maximum temperature over 40 degree Celsius in next couple of days, predicted India Meteorological Department (IMD).
As per the prediction by the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, the maximum day temperature is expected to rise by 6-8 degrees Celsius across Odisha during the period.
IMD has issued Yellow Warning for hot and humid weather in Odisha starting from April 17. Maximum temperature is expected to reach 43 degrees Celsius in Bolangir, Sambalpur, Titlagarh, Jharsuguda and Sonpur during the period.
