Bhubaneswar, Feb. 24 -- The trough in westerlies from Gangetic West Bengal to south Chhattisgarh across Odisha has become less marked. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday informed that there is no possibility of thunderstorm-induced rainfall activities in Odisha in the coming days.

It is pertinent to mention here that several parts of Odisha experienced untimely rains triggered by thunderstorm activities recently. The light to moderate rainfall has considerably brought the temperature down in several parts of the state.
