Even as the southwest monsoon has made its onset of the Southwest Monsoon over some areas of the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea, several parts of Odisha currently are reeling under intense hot and humid conditions.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday predicted that the maximum temperature is very likely to rise by 2 -3degC during the next three days and no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha.

However, the only respite is the forecast regarding gusty winds and thunderstorm activities in some parts of Odisha which might bring the temperature down and provide some relief to the people.
