Bhubaneswar, April 11 -- Cuttack: Tightening noose around the organised crime, the Commissionerate Police on Sunday arrested two persons who were allegedly part of an illegal firearms racket in Cuttack.

Six firearms (Four pistols and two revolvers) and 32 rounds of ammunitions have been seized from the two accused. The police also seized a car and four mobile phones from their possession.

Two accused have been identified as Dipuna alias Ajit Ray of Biridi, Jagatsinghpur and Papu alias Ajay Moharana from Ganjam. While 11 cases are pending against Dipu, 10 criminal cases are registered against Papu at various police stations in Cuttack and Jajpur district.
