The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Madrashas introduced a series of new undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Through the programmes, it aims to equip students with the skills required for emerging technologies and to foster leadership in industry and academia.
IIT Madras also became the first institute in the country to announce dedicated admission categories for students excelling in sports and fine arts. The institute will offer the 'Fine Arts and Culture Excellence' (FACE) Admission for undergraduate programmes starting from the academic year 2025-26.
