Bhubaneswar, Nov. 15 -- A major search and rescue operation is underway by the Indian Coast Guard in Odisha's Paradip. This exercise is being conducted to ensure the security of the regional maritime coastline. The operation also focuses on preventing smuggling and illegal entry, with the exercise being carried out in the mid-sea.
The exercise includes strategies on how to check enemies at sea, strengthening coastal safety and enhancing joint operational readiness. According to sources, teams from the State Search and Rescue unit actively participated in the workshop, which focused on improving coordination between state agencies and the Indian Coast Guard during emergency operations.
